Meeting Ended: 4:44

· Went through Student Leadership Conference and Big XII PowerPoint slides

o Student Leadership Conference –Nov. 20-22- Lincolnshire, Illinois

o Big XII - Feb. 26-28 – University of Texas

· 1^st Year/Transfer Retreats

o 1^st retreat today after GA to bowling alley ($5)

o October 25^th next retreat

· More info about DCG (Drake Gospel Choir) event coming soon

· Tuesday – Open Mic Night – 7PM at Pomeratz Stage (in Olmsted). Come out and share poetry, songs, stories, etc.

· Pre-homecoming events begin next week

o Yell Like Hell

o Window Painting

o Powderpuff Football

· Maya Angelou – Oct. 8^th 7PM

o Do NOT wear sweats

· GPA Requirements for conferences: 2.5

o Come to study tables starting Oct 5^th from 7-9pm

· Reggie’s Sleepout Oct. 24^th

o Choice of sleeping out all night or just participating from 7-10pm

· Broke into groups to discuss possible themes for black history month, potential events, and different ideas from the GA. Ideas to be discussed during Exec. Meeting.
